Bras and Disabilities

Bras can be a challenge- it's no secret that for many, bra shopping is a chore not a joy. This can be especially true if you have any sort of physical, developmental or cognitive challenges.

We love working with the Bart Adaptive Sports Center and supporting their mission that sports are for every body. We think about bras in much the same way. It's national disability month in July so we've put together a list of ways we can adapt our work to meet your needs.

  1. With thousands of bras in hundreds of sizes, we're prepared to fit your unique body.

  2. We carry bras with different types of closures, and bras with none at all. Front hooks, zippers, over the head- we can help find something that works.

  3. We carry bras with different fabrics- many without tags and other sensory triggers.

  4. We are experts in our field and can make the fitting experience as involved or hands off as you need. We don't need to touch you. We'll do our best work if we can at minimum see you in a bra (even one under a tight shirt), but we can also do a lot through the door. If you or your support team can give us feedback, we can make adjustments.

  5. Our fitting rooms are spacious so you and your supporters can easily fit. We can easily fit a wheelchair and have chairs to use if you just need a break. We're happy to fit you sitting down.

There's a lot more to adapting to disabilities than that short list, but it's something we care deeply about and continually strive to improve. We have great relationships with our brand partners and can source almost anything. Reach out and let us know what you need. We're here to help you feel amazing.
